Meet Pia Muehlenbeck, a lawyer turned Model who is now ruling over the Instagram. While, over 2 years ago, she realised that she was not made for that courtroom and decided to ditch her corporate lifestyle. While now, she has launched her own sportswear line, named Slinkii. Moreover, the beauty is winning over many hearts all over the internet. In addition, Pia Muehlenbeck has a massive fan following of 1.3m on Instagram alone. Born in Reutlingen, Germany, Muehlenbeck’s formative years have spent the world away. But, Muehlenbeck and her family relocated to the Gold Coast, Australia, where she was quickly forced to learn a new language after being thrust into a new school at only eight years old. While graduating at the top of her class in high school, Muehlenbeck earned a scholarship to Bond University to study law and communications.
“After graduating with first class honours in law, I decided that being a lawyer wasn’t for me. Ditching the corporate lifestyle I jumped feet first into converting my health and fitness blog into my very own sportswear line,” says Pia Muehlenbeck.
“Without having funds behind me to get started, I would model all my clothes myself in the mornings, and pack all the orders in the afternoons. And that was about 18 months ago. But now we’ve grown to a cool little team and we have a warehouse in Melbourne. While in the process of building my business, my own Instagram started to get a bit of attention I guess, and so now I split my time between my business and modelling for brands.” she added.

Moreover, she added, “We have quite a large audience now on social media, so if I can promote some positive message through that, then that’s much more important to me than just my own gain.” In addition, Pia Muehlenbeck and her partner Vato work with environmental conservation non-profit One Tree Planted to combat deforestation through donations made from each piece of SLINKII that’s sold.
